WelcomeGuest Customer
A clear printed roll media product can either be installed on the outside glass surface (First Surface) or the inside glass surface (Second Surface). Second Surface printing is also an option for clear rigid media. When viewed by your customer your printed product will look the same as the art file you submited. Our software will mirror your art files for Second Surface printing. The art you submit is how you want your art to look to your customer after installation.
A print bleed is needed for contour shapes and two sided printing with ink to the edge. A print bleed is also needed for routed images to allow for the profile of the bit for inside corners. A print bleed is usually not used for one sided cutting using the PDF Trimbox if insetting the cut line to avoid white slivers is acceptable. One sided banners with white hems don't require a print bleed, but any bleed beyond the finished print size will be folded over with the hem. A Bleedbox provided in the PDF will be printed and trimmed away using the Trimbox during cutting and is useful for square or rectangular pages. Bleeds for shapes as well as margins and spacing around shapes need to be within the PDF page Trimbox. Do not submit art files with shapes at the same size as the Trimbox. There must be (Bleed-Spacing-Margins) between the Kiss-cut or Thru-cut line for the shapes and the Trimbox which should be set the same size as the PDF page.
"No Bleed-Spacing (Cut PDF Page)" will use the TrimBox to make square or rectangular cuts.
"No Bleed-Inset Cut Lines (Inset When Cutting)" will print the PDF Trimbox, but during the cutting process, the cut lines automatically generated from the PDF Trimbox or the Thru-cut or Kiss-cut cut lines will be inset to avoid white slivers left around graphics with ink to the edge. This option is availabe when graphics have color to the edge, but no bleed is provided.
"Kiss-cut Shapes (Bleed-Spacing-Margins) in PDF" will print the PDF Trimbox and use the Thru-cut line to cut the PDF Trimbox and the Kiss-cut line to Kiss-cut the shape. No additonal margins or spacing will be added to the art files provided.
"Thru-cut Shapes (Bleed-Spacing-Margins) in PDF" will print the PDF Trimbox and use the Thru-cut cut line to cut out the shape. No additonal margins or spacing will be added to the art files provided.
"Bleed - .01" (Stickers - Decals)" will print the Bleedbox provided by the customer in their PDF file. The Trimbox will be used to trim away the bleed during the cutting process. Bleed is not needed if the edges of the graphic is white or a solid color. A Bleedbox is used for square or rectangular stickers. If you are cutting shapes, then the shape bleed will be inside the PDF Trimbox.
"1/8" Bleed" will print the Bleedbox provided by the customer in their PDF file. The Trimbox will be used to trim away the bleed during the cutting process.
"1/4" Bleed - Shear" applies to Rigid Material and uses the full size of the selected project size and bleeds the image over the edge during printing. Available for 12" x 12" and larger sizes.
Use Large Detail when the weeding involves large simple shapes. Use Medium, Small and Fine for letters and shapes as they are more numerous and smaller in size.
