ADA Braille refers to the use of Braille as mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to ensure accessibility for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Braille is a tactile writing system that uses raised dots to represent letters and numbers, allowing individuals with visual impairments to read and write. Under the ADA, businesses, public buildings, and other facilities are required to provide Braille signage for essential information, including room labels, elevator buttons, and emergency instructions.

Incorporating ADA Braille is crucial for creating an inclusive environment. It ensures that people who rely on Braille for navigation and information can access and use public spaces effectively. The ADA specifies standards for Braille signage to ensure consistency and readability, including guidelines for dot size, spacing, and placement. By adhering to these standards, organizations demonstrate their commitment to accessibility and equal opportunity, enhancing the independence and dignity of individuals with visual impairments.

Blind Shipping

Blind shipping can be requested at check out by setting the "Blind Shipping" as the address you wish to appear as the From Address on the label.

UPS Packages

Most small to medium orders can ship via UPS. Large orders and multiple item orders consisting of different products may need to ship in additional boxes. A shipping estimate is calculated during checkout based on the item's weight. Rigid media products such as coroplast, foamboard and metal over 36" x 48" are oversized and may need to be freighted. Shipments that exceed 46" in any direction may have additional oversized charges; this includes roll products that are 46" or more in both directions. A payment request for additional shipping charges will be sent before your order ships. A shipping estimate can be requested by emailing support@signink.com.

Courier (Regional or Local Oversized Shipments)

Local and regional courier delivery is available for orders that are too costly or large to ship UPS. Select from Professional Courier or Sign Ink Courier at check out. If you do not see your location but are within a 2.5 hour drive from the Sign Ink warehouse, you can request a quote by emailing support@signink.com. You can also add additional orders to a currently scheduled courier by selecting "Add to active Courier" as check out. Adding additional orders may change your delivery date.

Freight Shipments

Freight pallet shipments may be needed for large rigid media sheets over 36" x 48" or very large quantity/heavy orders. Any freight options selected at checkout are an estimate. Please contact us at Support@signink.com for a more accurate freight estimate before placing freight orders. For best freight pricing on full sheets: reduce a 48" x 96" sheet to 44" x 92".
